Manage replications

In this article, we will be exploring the managing of existing replications.

If you click on the "Replications" option in the left menu, it will open up manage replications section. You can view the list of existing replications over here.

You can view various properties of the replications and can take few actions related to replication.

The properties that you can view over here include:
  • Name of the replication
  • SharePoint Site URL
  • The type of replication whether it is the Selective or the Broad type of replication
  • Destination database where the SQList will export the data
  • Table prefix: the prefix which will be used as a prefix in the SQL Server table names
  • Enabled: whether the replication is enabled(active) or not

Besides this, you can take few actions against a replication as well. You can delete a replication by clicking on the delete button and if you want to make any changes to the existing replication, then you can click on the edit button.

Once you click on the edit button it will open up the step by step wizard to make changes in the existing replication. Depending on the type of replication selected, you can make changes in the lists selected and confirm your changes.

Also, you can view the main information related to the replication in the replication summary pane as soon as click on any replication.
