Select the names of the lists you want to export from the SharePoint sub-sites

This list is use to select the names of the lists to export from the selected sub-sites (important to stress that these are list names). This page works exactly like the list selection apart from the list names are the distinct names of the lists and libraries across the site hierarchy.

Description of the elements:

  1. Default export type: Two options are available here "Export only the lists and libraries selected below" and  "Export lists and libraries, except those unchecked below" These are discussed in depth later in this article. Clicking "Export binary content" will select all lists and libraries in the "Export List" column. Selecting "Export attachments" will select the export of binary content for all the lists and libraries names listed. Clicking "Keep deleted items" selects the "Keep deleted items" check box for each list or library.
  2. List name selection grid: This contains a list of all the SharePoint lists and libraries names in your chosen site hierarchy.
  3. Item count: *** I need to check this, it cannot be the total of all items? ***
  4. Export list:  Tick this option to replicate all the metadata for a particular list or library name across your hierarchy of sites. e.g. selecting "Calendar" in the example above would replicate all lists or libraries called "Calendar" across your site hierarchy.
  5. Export binary content:  Tick this option if you would like to replicate the binary content for a particular SharePoint library name such as a document library across the site hierarchy. e.g. Checking the "Export binary content" for a library called "Documents" would replicate all libraries called "Documents" across the site hierarchy you have selected.
  6. Export attachments: Tick this option to replicate all the attachments for a particular list or library name across your hierarchy of sites. e.g. selecting"Export attachments" for  "Customers" in the example above would replicate attachments from all lists or libraries called "Customers" across your site hierarchy.
